Position: OSS/BSS Architect
Skills, Qualifications & Experience:
- Develop system level architecture and interfaces to implement business processes
- Interface with Business on OSS/BSS application platform requirements and find solution to realize them in system architecture
- Coordinate with IT engineering and testing teams for application development/deployment
- Support system integration effort
- Mentor junior members of the team and provide training to business user groups
Job profile:
- 1.5 to 8 yrs experience in IT/Telco setups with exposure to processes
- Experience of architecture and design of software applications
- Strength in OSS/BSS domain – Exposure to one
- Exposure to Industry trends, eTOM framework
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Understanding of middleware technologies such ad CORBA, and SOA based architecture
- Knowledge of web technologies and portal design
- Knowledge on Oracle 8i dev, SQL Server, and Data dictionary
- Exposure of Operating Systems - (UNIX, Solaris, Linux, WIN2k)
- Exposure to EMS, NMS, and
- Exposure to communication protocols such as TCP/IP, and Network Management Protocols such as SNMP
- Integration experience using TIBCO middleware is a big plus
- Programming/scripting experience in Java, C/C++, XML, VB, ASP, .NET, PL/SQL, perl, PHP, HTML is a plus
