Education: B.Tech. / M.Tech. / MCA in Computer Science with software concentration
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Minimum 5 yrs experience in Java Programming.
- Minimum 3 yrs experience in GUI programming with either Swing, AWT or SWT/Jface
- Minimum 4 yrs experience with multithreaded programming in Java or C++
- Experience in Client/Server development
- Experience in Network (Socket) programming.
- Good Communication Skills
- Solid Programming Skills
- Solid Analytical Skills
Essential Responsibilities:
- Should have 5- 8 years of experience working with OOPS based systems with Java or C++ Should be strong in Collections, Multi-Threaded programming.
- Should have excellent understanding of OOPs concepts with good exposure to Design Patterns.
- He/She should have experience with Socket programming and should be strong in Swing/AWT/SWT/Jface.
- Should also posses skills on networking (high end networking implementation, RTP, RTP Stacks, solid OOPS concepts)
Desired Characteristics:
- He/She should be in position to technically meet all the expectations set for the deliverables and maintain a high say-do. He should understand the technology trends and should be ready to work with the team on the technology expected for the project(s).
- Besides having sound credentials in technical workmanship, he/she should be in position to clearly understand the domain and work with the team to clearly finalize the milestones and other technical deliverables that are required.
- Should be a self starter and a go getter and should have solid team building skills.
- Should be in position to think out of the box and get to the specifics in context with issues and solutions. Should understand the time criticalities and work toward delivering and keeping a high say do.
