Position: Java Swing Team Lead
Experience:
- Minimum of 6-10 years years Application development experience
- 3-5 years Java Client Development using Java Swing
- 3 years OO Analysis and Design
- A minimum of 6 years IT experience
- Demonstrated success and strong experience with problem-solving abilities
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Experience with the complete SDLC
Technical Skills:
- Provide the highest level of skill, quality, and timeliness of work while keeping abreast of changes in the software development and technology fields.
- 6+ years OO Analysis and Design, UML (Class Diagrams, Sequence Diagrams, etc)
- Thorough understanding and application of design patterns
- Java 2D experience is preferred, experience in 3D would be a plus.
- 3+ years experience in developing thick client Java Swing applications in a non-web development environment
- Experience playing a Senior-Level role on large, complex development projects: (5+ Years).
- Experience with JUnit
- Experience with ANT building tools
- Evaluate and improve performance using OptimizeIT/JProbe/Netbeans Profiler etc.
- Work with business analysts in understanding new requirements
- Project Management skills· Any experience with .Net/C# is a plus
Responsibilities:
- Responsibilities include but are not limited to developing easy-to-use, high performance multi threaded Java Swing desktop applications, applying user interface design principles, and designing and developing graphics rich applications.
- Provide the highest level of skill, quality, and timeliness of work while keeping abreast of changes in the software development and technology fields.

- Require a self starter with limited direct supervision who can effectively work on multiple projects simultaneously, meet aggressive deadlines when need be and thrive in a dynamic environment. (50% upgrades & 50% new development).
