(A) Position: Senior Member of the Technical Staff
Location: Bangalore
Role and Responsibilities:
- We are looking for highly motivated and qualified Software engineer to be a part of Vendio's talented Engineering group.
- You will work closely with Product Management and Marketing teams in defining and designing the product. You will work with Operations and QA teams in deploying the service.
- Vendio's Engineering team is working on building the online-auction industry's most advanced automation tools, data analysis and data-mining web-services. Our tools are used by thousands of merchants who do business on auction sites such as eBay, Yahoo and Amazon.
- You will be expected to lead the design and development of new product ideas and features.
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, education, experience and ability required.
- B.Tech. (or equivalent) with 4 yrs relevant experience, or M.Tech. with 3 yrs relevant experience with Web-based applications using a 3-tier architecture
- Extensive hands-on experience in Java and J2EE technologies is a must
- Experience with Oracle & MySQL, JDBC, SQL, PL/SQL is a must.
- A solid design and implementation background either in e-commerce or client/server or distributed object oriented paradigms
- Solid experiences with application servers like Web Logic, TomCat or Web Sphere
- Must have strong Technical Skills/Depth, Inter-personal skills, oral/written communication skills and an ability to think out-of-the-box
(B) Position: Technical Leader
Location: Bangalore

- Must strong capability to lead group of talented developers in completing projects, from planning, design, implementation, deployment, to support.
