- Minimum of 2-3 years Application development experience
- 1+ Years Java Client Development using Java Swing
- 2-3 Years OO Analysis and Design
- Non-technical Requirements:
- A minimum of 2-3 years IT experience
- Demonstrated success and strong experience with problem-solving abilities
- Good verbal communication skills
- Experience with the complete SDLC
- Hand coding Swing UI without use of Tools
- Custom editors and renderers for a variety of Swing components
- Use of GUI patterns within architecture implementation
- Must have experience with following:
- Layout Managers
- GUI Design Patterns
- Custom Rendering
- Threading Swing/Java
- Performance Monitoring
- Graphical package usage is an advantage
- Desirable skills:
- Any work related to pluggable look and feel or Internationalization in Java/Swing
