• OOP basics
• Java language
• Java Beans
• DB basic, SQL, JDBC, Transactions, at least one DB knowledge like Oracle, SQL Server, DB2 etc.
• JSP, Servlet, XML
• Struts or Spring either one of them.
• IDEs - Eclipse, NetBeans, etc.
• Testing Frameworks - Junit, etc
• Logging Frameworks - Jlog, Log4J, etc
• Configuration Management e.g. VSS, CVS, Rational ClearCase

• Java language

• DB basic, SQL, JDBC, Transactions, at least one DB knowledge like Oracle, SQL Server, DB2 etc.

• J2EE technology fundamentals and App Server Platforms - WebSphere, WebLogic, Jboss, etc - Deployment, Features, etc.
