Position: Technical / SOA Architect – DOT NET (.Net)
Technical Requirements:
- Total 8+ years of IT experience
- 3+ years of hard-core architectural experience
- Has provided solutions for complex applications using .Net 2.0, 3.0, 3.5 with C# and SQL 2005/2008
Technical Skills:
- Should have provided solutions on .Net 2.0, 3.0, 3.5 with C#
- Should have worked on SQL 2005/2008.
- Design patterns experience is a must.
- Should have preferably worked on Agile methodology and / or have experience in Extreme programming
- Should have designed & implemented SOA, Web Services solutions
- Experience in MS.Net AJAX or any Rich Internet Application framework
- Experience on performance monitoring & improvement a plus
- Should have knowledge of MOSS 2007
- Well versed with XML / XSLT
Responsibilities:
- Demonstrates traceability between design & requirements
- Modeling - business process, logical & physical (data)
- Identify candidate and alternative architecture & designs & do trade off analysis
- Prepare architectural & design docs and presentations
- Participate in designing frameworks.
- Review technical artifacts
- Sets standards and best practices in design & development for project team
- Coach team members in design / coding techniques
- Should have been involved in Prototype, experiment & simulate
- Support scoping activities
- Identify technical risks and mitigate them
- Ensures performance considerations are part of design and implementation.
- Expert in SDLC processes i.e. Configuration Management, Release Management, Testing, Tools Integration
Managerial Skills:
- Works with clients to understand and identify business requirements
- Analyzing requirements to identify gaps in them
- Owning or Designing complex pieces of thee project architecture.
- Investigating and fixing problems, implementing functional enhancements and monitoring applications.
Optional Skills:
- Contributing to the growth & development of the technical community by training others, sharing knowledge and best practices.
- Plays a continuing role in development of project track by providing helpful suggestions to team members to develop their knowledge, awareness and skills, encouraging team members to provide continuous feedback to each other and share information openly.
- Provides guidance and mentoring to his/her sub-ordinates.
