Capgemini India calling Java / SAP MDM, Portal developers with Onsite offer

Position 1: Java Web Developer

The primary role of the developer will be:

  • To design and develop enhancements to the ALU intranet site
  • The developer will work under close direction with the team lead, BSA and Project Manager
  • Technical specifications will be required to be written for all development under the his/her responsibility

The skill sets required for this role include:

  • Intermediate developer, minimum 3-5 years experience in web application design and development
  • Excellent knowledge on Java/J2EE development environment in a multi-developer setting
  • Excellent knowledge on web application development
  • Strong communication skills
  • LDAP (iPlanet)
  • Oracle
  • UNIX (familiarity with Solaris required)
  • Web Services (an asset)
  • Good knowledge of UI design with good understanding on how to translate business logic captured in the front end (screen) to the data repository
  • Experience on IBM WAS (J2EE server) and IBM WPS (Portal server)

Position 2: Senior SAP MDM/Portal Developer

Required skills:

  • Extensive experience in developing enterprise websites built on SAP Portal, Netweaver 2004S, EP 7.0
  • Experience in custom java development for solutions in MDM
  • Experience in Master Data Management (SAP MDM), installing and configuring MDM Server, Import Server and Syndication Server
  • Experience with SRM-MDM Catalog, Search UI, Configuration UI, and OCI Mapping
  • Experience in SAP Netweaver PI/XI including Business Process Management (BPM), Proxy Development, Mapping, Webservices, etc. within SAP XI
  • Proficient in developing user defined functions in JAVA for SAP XI
  • Experience in integration document standards such as XML, WSDL, XSLT, XSD Schemas, SOAP, RNIF, CIDX, EDI, and UN/EDIFACT
  • Experience with SAP Netweaver PI Adapters, HTTP, RFC, IDOC, JDBC, Flat File, JMS, SOAP, SMTP
  • Experience in IBM Websphere Portal development (an asset)

Location: Bangalore

Important Note:

  • The candidate will be working for Alcatel-Lucent client.
  • This is an urgent requirement. There will be a client interview for the short-listed candidates.
  • The positions require onshore travel on B1 or L1.
