Role: Associate Consultant & Consultant in the Enterprise Application Consultants (EAC) practice
Wipro’s Enterprise Architecture Consulting Practice is Growing Rapidly!
We are looking for experienced consultants who are excited by working on global projects making large organization-wide impacts delivering business-orientated IT outcomes. These positions are as much business positions as they are IT ones. They demand a unique blend of business acumen, technology breadth & depth and excellent communication, sales and leadership skills. Even more important, they know when to listen. They are curious, analytical, and able to grasp quickly the essential nature of a technology or a problem.
Qualifications:
Associate Consultant: 4-6 Years of experience
Consultant: 6-9 Years of experience
Must have:
Possess reasonably good IT landscape breadth (not necessarily depth) – in areas like Portals, Integration (EAI, SOA), Legacy Systems, Reporting etc.
Ability to understand business processes (in Banking, Financial Svcs, and Insurance verticals)
Ability to come up IT financial/cost models, cost-benefit analysis, ROI estimations
Very good communication/presentation/soft skills
Very good analytical skills
Ability to work independently or as a project team member
Ability to manage complex information and rapidly structure and rationalize it
Must have applied knowledge of Enterprise Planning, IT Management, Project Management, and business processes and applications
In depth understanding of one or more of the following: IT Governance, IT Life-Cycle management , Performance Measurement and Project Management standards
Ability to analyze client's business processes, needs, and objectives and map them to portfolio management processes and solutions being implemented.
Willingness to do international travel for short and long term assignments
Ability to support Business Development activities assisting with bid and proposal development, and collaborating on marketing collateral and events.
Ability to support Practice Development activities by developing service offering materials, including delivery methods and artifacts.
Desirable:
Experience with business and operational transformation projects
Knowledge of Project Portfolio Management or Enterprise Project Management products is a plus
IT experience in the areas of Strategy & Operations and the Program/Project Management Office
Responsible for the planning, design, configuration, and implementation of IT Portfolio Management technology and process initiatives
Take a lead role in developing, implementing, and fostering adoption of IT Portfolio Management Best Practices within client organizations.
Geographies & Locations:
We are hiring for permanent positions in the following geographies: India (Bangalore), Europe (UK and Netherlands) and the US.
Travel Requirements:
All candidates should be willing to travel on a short-term basis (up to 25%)
