Position: Automation Tester

Experience: 4 – 9 Years experience in Manual + Automation Testing.

Work Location: MUMBAI

Skill Set:

• Assessment of testing effort; schedule and test plan creation
• Provide estimates for test plan by following the defined estimation models
• Collect and track daily test case creation / test execution metrics and provide report to Test Management for status reporting
• Point of Contact for Defect Management calls
• Attend and represent project track status meetings
• Identify project risks and work with PMO to document, evaluate, assess, and respond to the riskassessment of test automation effort - QTP, QC, IBM RQM and Rational functional tester
• Schedule and test script creation; Identify reusable components
• Work closely with process testing team to identify components / workflows ready for automation
• Understanding of packages testing - SAP , Siebel, Oracle EBS and custom development testing
• Attend and represent project track status meetings
• Contribute as both in individual capacity as well as mentor junior team members
• Ensure that the solution implements best practices applicable
• Excellent Communications skills (written and oral) and good interpersonal skills

Job Description:

Be responsible for the consolidation, digitization, archiving, retrieval, sharing, dissemination and usage of intellectual capital of Deloitte India’s consulting practice. This will require significantly:

• Understanding of the consulting business and the basic terminology – qualifications, credentials, CVs, Proposals, Reports etc.
• Sensitivity to what knowledge is important and what is less so from the KM point of view
• Persuading people to contribute their knowledge and encouraging a sharing culture in the firm
• Archiving systematically the knowledge in a easily retrievable fashion using Deloitte portals
• Maintaining visibility of the initiative

Some applied level tasks will be: (KX – Knowledge Exchange)

• KX induction to all new joiners
• Regular emails to all practitioners highlighting KX – tips & tricks, new features, project portfolios etc.
• Ensure all offices have up-to-date training & marketing material about KX
• Attend monthly conference calls to get latest updates on KX
• Send regular reminders through newsletter & flyers several times in a year to make practitioners aware of what’s new in KX
• Organize at least six monthly webinars for all practitioners in India
• Get nominations from all India for global KM for consideration in the awards process
• Ensure all practitioners have created a My KX profile, including new details as featured
• Regular updates on e-Room, so that awareness & promotion of e-Room usage
• Get Monthly updates from PSA with regard to new consulting wins
• Filter out completed projects & send a request mail to partners / project managers to contribute their project qualification on to KX
• Collect project qualifications for all of new wins
• Send monthly/quarterly reminders to Project Managers of completed projects
• Ensure all HR managers for each office notify monthly joiners & leavers
• Update OMS for activation & withdraw monthly
• Remind practitioners to update CV quarterly
• Track & report updates quarterly via OMS
• Circulate KM update for Country Newsletter
• Get nomination for all India Subject Matter Expert for FY 08
• Quarterly review & update SME listing, including on KX & BSX
