Job Profile - Technical Pre-Sales Consultant
The incumbent will be accountable for ECM Pre-sales technical support role focused on enabling the sales team across region on ECM technology products and solutions; as well as on assisting in large/complex sales. The role also requires supporting the sales team in preparing communication material and designing solutions to generate new business. He/ She would be directly responsible for the activities mentioned below:
- Providing presales support to sales team
- Preparation of collateral’s such as case studies, presentations, OOTB ECM Product Demo"s etc for the customers
- Collation and packaging of proposal to address RFP/ RFI/ITT Responses
- Coordination for client visits
- As a technical consultant, he/she should have the ability to represent the organization in seminars, conferences and events
- Gathering and understanding information on competitors to effectively highlight the competitive advantage of Datamatics in line with client expectations
- Collecting information and communication material on the organization and other units
Required skills:
- Bachelor’s (undergraduate) degree or equivalent experience preferably in technical field, Masters in Business Administration
- At least 3 to 5 years of related (ECM Technology PreSales) working experience
- Excellent Communication skills (English verbal & written)
- Ability to Collaborate with multiple units/teams
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power Point, MS Visio, MS Project) and consultative selling skill sets
- Specific knowledge of customer industry or segment (preferably in ECM (Enterprise Content Management) industry)
- Ability to stretch
- Strong customer facing skills and ability to present proposals persuasively
- Ability and willingness to motivate and support other consultants; Ability to work independently as well as in a team
Desired skills:
- The incumbent should have good overview in any of the below mentioned technologies
- Java family of technologies
- Microsoft technologies
- IBM FileNet
- EMC Documentumm
- Microsoft SharePoint
- The incumbent should also have BASIC KNOWLEDGE of at least ONE database mentioned below:
- Oracle,
- MS SQL,
- DB2, etc
