Job Description:
- Demonstrable familiarity in liaising with technical teams, trading assistants and traders, suppliers, and middle office
- Excel/VBA development experience
- SQL and database experience (not necessarily from a design point of view, but must be able to connect and write queries to search for data such as tracing trade flows)
- Ability to deliver in a time bound manner with multiple unknowns.
- Communication skills
- Experience of front office trading systems from a support perspective
- Credit derivatives knowledge (basic pricing, knowledge of credit markets)
- SQL Server experience (Transact-SQL stored procedures; writing, debugging, SSIS packages; designing, developing and debugging)
- Full Object-oriented strategic software development experience (Java, C#) covering requirements gathering, prototyping, analysis, design and coding
- Client-facing skills and requirement-gathering skills
