1. Overall responsibility of designing and managing the individual taxation & Social security policy for all Indian assignees deputed onsite for assignments
2. Overall responsibility of designing and managing the Individual taxation & Social security policy for all international employees deputed to India for assignments
3. To Manage the individual tax & Social security compliance for both foreign employees in India and Indian employees abroad
4. To Design and structure compensation frameworks for Indian employees deputed abroad and foreign employees deputed to India
5. To Conduct benchmarking exercises on cost of overseas deployment and possibilities of rationalization
6. To Provide expertise on expatriate and international individual taxes, worldwide tax jurisdictions, tax rules and compliance while the company expands the geographic footprint
7. To Provide expertise on subjects like Market Adjustment Allowance, Mobility Premium, COLA, FX, Hypothetical tax, tax withholding - how these affect the compensation of an assignee, how they are implemented and adjusted for different geographies
8. Understanding of Air Inc / Mercer / ORC / ECA data on market and basket of goods and how they are applied to a salary build up.
Required skills:
1) CA post qualification 3-6 years
2) Should have an exposure to Individual taxes
3) Should have an understanding of taxes and handled Indian taxes, has an appetite to learn about international taxation.
