Position: LAMP Developer
What is the Job like? Directi is a $300+ million group of businesses, creating Internet software for millions of global users. As a Developer (PHP/Python/Ruby) you will be involved in the entire lifecycle of a project including design, development, architecture, deployment and testing of high-volume web applications. You will be working closely with world-class engineering, UX, graphic design and marketing teams to design and build some of the coolest apps on the web.
Location: Mumbai.
Experience: 5+ years.
Who should apply for this post?
- You have built multiple high volume web applications on the Linux-MySQL/ PostgreSQL-PHP/ Python/ ROR stack. You are intimately familiar with CMS' like Drupal, Joomla or Wordpress and know when is the right situation to use a framework like RoR, CakePHP, CodeIgnighter, Django or Zope. You love firebug and can easily figure out the cause of any JQuery cross-browser issue. You are passionate about programming and delivering, clean, test-covered, well-designed, scalable code.
- You have a good grasp on programming fundamentals including OOP, Design Patterns, algorithms, data structures, networking etc. You have exceptional oral/written communication skills and a basic sense of business.
- You are innately curious, and take time out to keep up with industry trends and practices. You can deliver good software at a rapid pace.
