Position: Business Analyst / Project Manager

Reporting To: Senior Project Manager - CRS/ASI

Educational Qualifications: Any graduate/BS/B.Tech/BE/MCA or above

Job Location: Bangalore

Experience:

  • 8-10 years of related experience; with a mix of Business Analyst and Project Management
  • Strong Experience in managing multiple projects in the development and maintenance mode
  • Strong core-banking knowledge and good understanding of Back-office organization in CIB
  • Strong knowledge of Quality processes and estimation techniques
  • Good People Management skills; should have handled small (5-10) and/or medium (10-15) sized teams
  • Uses business/domain knowledge to provide functional assistance to the development team
  • Experience in handling cross platform projects - Web based and legacy
  • Clear understanding of Software Development life cycle and process oriented
  • Experience in grooming a young team of developers
  • Capability to work with clients to establish and maintain a consistent development methodology

Main Responsibilities:

  • Understand functional requirements and raise clarifications with counterparts (business analysts, managers)
  • Lead Requirements Gathering and User Acceptance phases of the project
  • Coach developers on processes and project execution
  • Ensure best practices and apply them in the team - responsible for product quality
  • Deploy Agile practices (daily scrum, iteration planning, retrospective, test driven, model storming) and follow the sameĆ¢€¢Maintain and enhance continuous integration and software factories for project(s)
  • Decompose the business requirements into functional specification documentation
  • Provide work and resource load estimates
  • Plan and decompose the project into WBS and track them to satisfactory closure
  • Contribute to prioritization on work product as per the agreed iteration goals
  • Work effectively with other team members by sharing best practices

What are we looking for?:

  1. The candidates should have a major stint in a consulting (Accenture, CTS) or services (Infosys, Wipro, Satyam, TCS, HCL) or CBS product (Oracle/iFlex) company
  2. The candidates should have led and managed teams (at least 10-15 people) i.e should have good People Management experience.
