Overall Purpose:
- The Business Analyst should have a skill set to span both the business and technical project tasks .
- Their initial function is to assist in gathering and developing the business requirements
- This individual should have a background in customer service delivery / management, with project management skills such as putting together plans, managing tasks, co-ordinating with other functions, in order to help the business develop requirements .
- Knowledge of insurance and existing processes and systems is preferred.
- Overall, the Business Analyst’s job is to interpret the user’s desires into system requirement documents, and assist the business team in integrating the new system into the user’s work environment.
- After the high-level design, the Business Analyst will work with the development team to ensure the design of the system meets the documented requirements and process flows.
- Provide business requirements to IT for automation requirements
- System testing for User acceptance
- User Training on Systems and Processes
- Provide project management support for the project
- Project planning and management skills
- Preparation of system requirements, test plans, tests execution, training kits and process manuals.
- Good written and verbal communication (presentation / training) skills along with strong analytical skills.
- MBA with 3-5 years in any industry .
- Asst Manager level resource
