Position: Junior Project Coordinator

Roles & Responsibilities:

· Works with business users to document scope statements, define business requirements, perform analysis and assist in recommending and building new systems or improvements and redesign of current systems.

· Participates in workgroup sessions, applies business experience and analytical skills to define recommendations and improve processes.

· Works with development staff to evaluate system packages, interview vendors, document functional requirements and recommend system solutions.

· Builds databases, designs screens and builds system solutions using PC based tools.

· Develops project plans, communication plans, risk analysis, schedules and other project management deliverables.

· Provides status reporting to the project management.

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Working knowledge of MS tools, including MS Office products (Access / Project / Visio / Excel).
• Understanding of all phases of the Systems Development Life Cycle required, with skill and experience in the requirements specification, testing and implementation phases.
• Must be able to analyze current business processes, define new ways of doing business and document clear recommendation for change.
• Ability to meet deadlines, multi-task, problem-solve.
• Must have strong communications skills, both verbal and written.
• Project management experience in an information systems environment is preferred.

Experience: 4 years plus technical experience and 1+ year in Project Management
