Job description:

1. Java Developer (7 openings)

The candidate should have:

• IIT ,DCE and RECs background or from real good instititutes

• Good academics
• Confident & excellent communication skills.

• Experience of working on Java in Product Development companies
• Experience of 2-6 years

• Extensive experience of Object Oriented programming, preferably in JAVA
• Knowledge of / has worked with 'Design Pattern' (GOF)
• Strong analytical insight, result-oriented, creative, ingenious, convincing

2. Testing (4 openings)

The candidate should have:

• IIT ,DCE and RECs background or from real good instititutes

• Good academics
• Confident & excellent communication skills.
• Experience of working on testing in Product Development companies
• Total experience of 2-6 years

Tasks and responsibilities:

• To develop products for derivates trading. To act as a think tank in solving theoretical problems with mathematical models and other calculations involved in calculating (theoretical) prices for derivatives.
• To concretise and set up (new) possibilities for derivatives agreements and contracts based on theoretical models.
• In-house development of trading applications, maintenance, roll-out and implementation.
• Analysis of proposals for changes in existing or new functionality and formulation of the relevant information needs requirements.
• Further development of existing applications.
• Maintaining and designing the architecture.
• Drawing up and maintaining the functional and technical system design.
• Coordinating and carrying out activities involved in programming and testing changes in existing or new functionality.
• Compiling and maintaining sys! tem documentation.
• Preparing and supervising the system and acceptance test, implementation and system evaluation, possibly abroad.

3. Front Office Developers: Business Analyst (3 openings)

Role:

The purpose of this role is to understand the needs of the business and provide robust applications proactively and in cooperation with our dynamic team of traders in our office. This role is also responsible for coming up with new strategies and building/implementing these new strategies as well as improve existing algorithms.

Key accountabilities:

• Developing and maintaining real time trading and analysis applications, in cooperation with the traders;- Working closely with traders to capture requirements and to proactively spot automation opportunities;- Working together with other development teams in Amsterdam, Sydney, HK and Chicago;- Balancing quick development demands with designing and building quality, scalable trading architecture that meets the short and longer term needs of the business

Work Experience:

• Previous experience is not vital, however will be looked upon favourablyTechnical Skills:- Experience with a variety of languages (including C++ or Java)- Strong design principles, including experience with Object Oriented methodologies- Development experience within the .NET environment- Knowledge of Excel including macro and add-in development- Database experience including knowledge of SQL

Education:

• Bachelor/Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering (Computer or Software) or another technical area with strong academic results (credit minimum) is essential.

Other:

• Knowledge of Financial Markets is an advantage, and a passion for the industry is essential- You will also demonstrate strong analytical skills, have well developed planning and organising skills and have a structured approach to tackling tasks and achieving results- Strong communication and relationship building skills are vital in order to interact with traders and deliver business outcomes
• Interaction within Traders – Developers - Other IT team colleagues – locally and globally

Note:

• Final interviews would be finalized in the 1^st week of April in India
• It is a permanent position. Salary is very good.
